Kshatriya, from (holder of) Kshatra (rule or authority), is one of the four varnas (social orders) in Hinduism. Traditionally, Kshatriya constitute the ruling & military elite of the Vedic-Hindu social system outlined by the Vedas and the Laws of Manu.
